It's real and fairly easy to play. You just need like a 20-40 dollar saw and any violin/cello bow and you're set.

it's such a simple song, but you play it so beautifully!
i have been quite dissapointed in what youtube has to offer in the way of musical saw preformances, but this is simply gorgeous.
most definately one of my favorite instruments.
