Jimmy Griffin and Larry Knechtel - For All We Know & Bridge Over Troubled Water

Jimmy Griffin and Larry Knechtel perform "For All We Know" and "Bridge Over Troubled Water" on their world tour with Bread in 1997.

Jimmy Griffin, along with Robb Royer and Fred Karlin, wrote the song, "For All We Know" for the movie "Lovers and Other Strangers". The trio won an Academy Award for their song in 1971. The Carpenters later picked up the song and turned it into the proverbial ballad it is today.

Multi-talented musician, Larry Knechtel played piano on the original recording of Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water".

Two of the greatest musical artists and two spectacular songs. Knowing that Larry played on the studio version of Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge over troubled water" and James and Robb wrote and recorded the demo for "For all we know" that went on to become a fabulous hit for the Carpenter's, this video is priceless.
