um so when did you skate in nikes before skste shoes existed cause visions streetwear was designed for skating in the early 80s with gator as their main man and people skated in theyre shoes not fuckin nikes. Fuck nike they just finally found another sport to buy into and bring in their cash crop. Who the fuck wants to watch a "skate" video where half the fuckin' video isnt even skateboarding

it was only when we again picked up the dunk that they found a way to win the skate community. but not openly...

that little sb is small enough that its overpowered by the corporate swoosh that sells so many shoes, & cryptic enough as an acronym that most purchasers wont know its a skate shoe at all.

they'll cash in on skate because its a core part of the streetwear market, but they wont publicise it enough to risk a potential lost sale.

so nike attempted to break into skate. but had two major failures, and so dropped all support, including the team...
