Confusion - Scientology

Over the last few weeks I've been thinking about what the Church of Scientology keeps saying to the public.

Apparently all critics are child pornographers, and anonymous are all a bunch of teenage hackers.

Well explain these two things:

Why is it when anyone criticizes the church their only comeback is to say that you're a paedophile? Can they come up with nothing more constructive? Because as it goes that's a very big claim to make, and if unfounded and said in public constitutes slander. Does the church of scientology believe they are above liable laws? It seems funny that if you question the church they will sue you for everything you've got, but they are allowed to go around calling people child molesters. If you call Mr Tom (I'm in love with Scientology) Cruise gay he will sue you for slander in an instant, yet many people are being called child pornographers and being let go on it.

So, church of scientology. Just to clarify things. Just because someone doesn't agree with the things you do does not make them a child pornographer. It makes them a person with an opposing view. And at least critics have the decency to explain and expand on why they think these things when asked. When you are asked what do you do, you call them criminals and run away. Very mature.

Secondly they claim that anonymous is made up of teenagers, who are hackers and bullies. Well yes, some may be teenagers, some may very well know how to hack or have pushed some kid at school in the dirt one time. But for a group claiming that all bad people are child pornographers, is it not just a tad silly to then snoop on these members of anonymous that are all teenagers according to you, and then put their private details onto placards and take those to show at protests. Surely if all members of anonymous are kids, then giving people their details is helping these evil child pornographers find targets, as you are giving out their home addresses?

This raises a quandary you see, either you are encouraging perverts to turn up at these members homes by giving out their details publicly, or you are giving out the details of adult members? This would mean that your theory about every member of anonymous being a teenager is not only incorrect but a lie that you are fuelling to try and make them look bad.

So to sum up my rant, just because someone doesn't agree with the way you work does not make them a pervert or a criminal, and you are either fuelling perverts by giving kids details out to the public, or you know that they are not just teenagers and you are stating this to try and undermine and smear them. Neither option exactly paints you in the prettiest of lights does it?

That is all, not the most eloquent of rants but hopefully I managed to express my point.
