  • @gerri0606 Excuse me, But I'm 15 and I love Janis. You have absolutely no right to say that those of us who didn't grow up with her cannot listen to her or voice our opinion.Oddly enough, the majority of Janis-Haters are in your generation. Get off your high horse and listen to yourself when you talk.

  • Happy 69th Birthday Janis!!!

  • Good video...great voice. Good music has no time, or age limit.. As for self esteem... well just look at the media today.. young girls of 9 and 10 half starving themselves because they do not fit the image that the media pushes...

As for Janice.. she was just great...

  • Dick Cavett say, "Later, Rachael Welch. Now, Janis Joplin."

I just bet Janis got tired of being called ugly.

    She is NOT ugly.

    She is BEAUTIFUL.

    She had the MUSIC.

  • @beatlesgurlstarr U GO YOUNG BLOOD

  • I would like to see artist performers sound this good without all the technology that makes even a crappy singer sound good. When artist like Janis and such played live on tv they just had their talent not technology. That was music, that's an artist,

  • I'm moved. She and Bob would've done a duet.

  • its so hard to imagine living in a time where an artist like Janis walked the earth.

  • @beatlesgurlstarr you're absolutely right. i found janis when i was 15. this music is about being human, and janis is soo raw. so whoever thinks that we're too young because we're not in our 50s and 60s.. well, they missed the point. rock on and love on, lil sister

  • She had such passion with every performance. @MagicMarioA... agreed, music of today is garbage.

  • Now this is talent! I'll take Janis over the pathetic excuses for artists today like Katie Perry, Beyonce, Brittany Spears and the like. Music of today is garbage.
