The Feeling of being in Asghabat Airport, Turkmenistan for the first time, was the best!!!
After sitting in the Transit hall, we get back into our plane (Turkmenistan Airlines). This was on 29/June/10, we arrived on daybreak and by the time we got back out the airport to the aircraft, Im telling you it really got Hot!
The kind Turkmen women at the end told me to stop filming.
Another greeting I got was, when touching down in Turkmenistan my mobile network greeted me in Turkmenistan, telling me the costs of calling although the airport had a sign "no phones or bad consequences"...and from my British phone network it changed to (438 01), a Turkmenistani network even though I didnt have to get an foreign sim. When we landed in Ashgabat at 5 am it was 25 Degrees which was really warm, in this video when we were boarding our flight to the next stop in India it reached an incredible 30 + ...

  • you know its so funny when i last went to this airport i saw female women dressed in pencil skirts with hairy legs lol. i was susprised about thier funny appearance. this airport to me looks preetty scary however im goimg again now dont know if its changed or still the same, will have 2 see.

  • @missfashioneye Haha funny story. The airport was a bit scary and don't worry nothings changed to it. Have a nice time :)

  • Im sure i was reading BMI are going to start a service from Heathrow to Amritsar, my sikh friends Balram "The BodyGuard" Singh and Beautiful Bobby "The Big Show" Kandola don't need to fly this airline no more.

  • @19bootsy68 Yeah I read that story as well, BMI starting flights to Amritsar from Heathrow Int. but i'm not sure if it has started.

  • @LAKOPUNJABI BMI fly MN/TH/SA out of LHR at 09:55am with a brief stop at Almaty and land at ATQ (Amritsar) 02:45am returning SU/WD/FR from ATQ at 04:10am landing at LHR at 11:10am the plane is a A330.200 price wise £650 upwards....it's started...my bodygaurd Balram has invited a few of us over to the Punjab.....one Indian and five whites when his 2nd home is built in Julandhar...and us whites will be wearing Indian cricket tops....to get the locals going!!.

  • @19bootsy68 £650 is quite a lot to be real, this flight I went on during Summer season costed £470. And flying with BMI don't expect to get excellent customer service!!! Yes the stop over in Kazakhstan, most of these airlines are not 3 Star let alone 4, so customer service is poor especially on cheaper flights. Okay, are you going with friends to the Punjab? I don't think the "locals" as you call them are going to be over flabagasted. Staying in Jalandhar, have a great time!!!

  • @pjohal01 yh it is really expensive, Turkmenistan's network was costly and im surprised hw ur call worked, mine didnt! it wudnt get connected..i got an instant msg wen i landed in the country which it wud of costed £2.50 p/min to recieve calls and im not able to make calls lol,,,haha yh different countries have different regulations, Turkmenistan is a strict country anyway..but the airline is good as it is mostly on time and is cheaper than direct flights...
