Justin Massimo, a beginner himself, shows you all a quick and easy way to make sure you keep your switch or spey rod together on the stream. After months of frustration in the 33 degree Salmon River, and after pulling half his rod back in to find it totally frozen 43 times, Justin stumbled across this method and now shares it with you.
Errr... Never had a rod "Fly apart" It's a fly rod spend a little extra dough... Cheese and crackers...
Everyone of my rods has a life time warranty. You can even get a Reddington which is a really great rod for a great price... with a lifetime warranty. They're owned by Sage... So your buying a great rod built by Sage that WON'T "Fly apart" Or just buy a Sage... They don't fly apart.

This will also compromise the strength of the rod. Try waxing your ferrules. Sex wax or any surf wax works.
