  • wow whatta Beauty!!!

  • I think I'm in love.

  • @himpaolo I planted two trays and they grew fast. Unfortunately my blender isn't good enough to juice it very well.

Each tray produces a LOT of juice (I put water in the blender, then grass).

For my use, I cut the whole tray, juiced a jug full of concentrated juice and then stored the rest of the grass in the fridge.

I mix the juice with orange juice and a bit of sprite. the taste is too strong by itself.

  • @fedtheend i hear alot that inferior quality of seeds are more likely to mold and more difficult to sprout.

how is your experience? every try buying those expensive organic ones?

  • @angryadrien that is very very cheap! they say those cheap ones arent as nutritous and have a tendency to mold or difficult to sprout?

how did it work for you?

  • @SouthronPatriotTexas cool, thanks. I bought a 45 pound bag for $12 and I have them germinating already :)

I'm glad it wasn't an extremely expensive project.

  • @angryadrien Feed store wheat seeds are fine.

  • Is there a special type of grain that I should use or will wheat seeds from a farm supply store be sufficient?

  • @fedtheend Soak for 20 hours then drain and put in a bowl in the dark. Rinse once per day for 2 or 3 days till it begins to sprout then put in soil and cover soil with damp newspaper and place in the dark again. Spray newspaper with liberal amounts of water once per day for 2 days then take out into indirect sunlight. Water once per day until 6-7 inches then harvest. Easy, I do it every week. Soaking it long enough in the beginning is key.

  • wheatgrass is great i grow it but lately have had some dificulty sprouting it. specifically it takes about a day or so longer to sprout and it only cracks open a bit when it sprouts and doesn't seem to develop the little leader anymnore, but it still grows when I put it in the soil . perhaps that is what it does when it gets real hot outside.
