this brought tears to my eyes and reminded me of my childhood seeing my momma go through the same thing and myself growing up to make the same vow, nothing bothers me more than seeing a woman being abused if I could I would take it for all of them

Great song, great writing, this song is sad but true. The emotion that was put into it. Makes sense, yet their can be a silver lining.
