We had a kitten who wasn't meant to live, yet lived 7 very FULL months! She and our Cockatiel were best of friends! I think the Cockatiel may have even known that Psycho was dying so he took her under his wing and nurtured her throughout her entire short life.  Us adopting her at 3 days old may have been why too.. she didn't see differences! *grin*
