How to get into Point A's tunnel on Gravelpit (TF2)

A lot of people don't know about this from what I've seen, and there didn't seem to be any videos online, so I figured I might as well toss a quick one up. Useful for Medics, especially.


To do this simply:

Run at the cliff wall to the right of the tunnel opening, jump, and crouch in mid-air to get onto it. This "invisible ledge" is rather picky, so you have to jump at it at the proper angle and spot.

After this, turn left toward the tunnel opening.

Now start running and jump from the "invisible ledge" you are. This time, however, you will hold down D to strafe right while moving the mouse to the right to turn right. This will cause you to change what direction you are moving in and go toward the tunnel opening's ledge. Crouch while doing this to be able to land on the very corner of the tunnel.

This may take quite a few tries to perform initially.


From what I can tell the wall that juts out with the tunnel entrance at Point B just barely prevents you from doing this there. Tried for about an hour to get that one but couldn't.
