Spaying or neutering a pet, which helps in the pet overpopulation crisis in the country, involves visiting a veterinarian to set up an appointment for surgery when the animal is around 6 months of age. Get a dog or cat spayed or neutered to prevent reproduction, prevent certain medical problems and deter bad behavior with health information from a veterinarian in this free video on pet care.

  • so if i neuter my dog will he still run around and play or will he just site there and do nothing?

  • fuck u go have ur pussy spayed i dint think soo

  • SPAY AND NEUTER spread the word there are too many dogs and cats that are malmourished and overpopulatted :(

  • do you honestly think that removing a dogs balls will cure everything? its not natural.

  • You may say that you're a responsible owner but you can't always be with your dogs 24hours what if they escape and get pregnant???? I have been a vet nurse for the past year and have seen lots of dogs and cats get spayed and neutered and have never seen any changes in their behaviour or personality. If you aren't going to breed with your dogs I think its alot nicer to have them s/n instead of never letting them fulfill their urges plus its alot more money to get cancer removed then to have a s/n

  • It doesn't matter if your dog is intact (apart from the fact he may possibly get testicular cancer when he's older) dogs always act the same no matter if they have been spayed/neutered. Desexing doesn't magically change their personality it just decreases their stress levels as they aren't thinking about finding a mate or have any territorial urges, they have a decreased chance of future medical conditions and they won't bring unwanted pups into the world.

  • @Dogsneedpleasuretoo hey buddy i think im with you...i have a 9 month old golden and he is the happiest dog on the block.. im worried that if i get him cliped he wont produce male hormones and that might effect his quality of life..in men a low testosterone count has some very bad effects. as well as a increase in other illnesess..any thoughts advice?
