Fraud? Not at http://www.geekteks.com ! We offer a "You don't pay unless we fix it" policy. Call 877.Geek.Tek (433.5835) for more info or please visit our website.

We at GeekTeks are very proud NOT to be associated with Best Buy and the Geeksquad.

All of our teks are highly experienced and therefore skilled. Our teks usually have at least three certifications: A+, Net+, and Sec+. Although we don't feel the certifications are really the most important qualification of a good tek, we understand they are important in the eyes of most consumers. Finally, our teks undergo a complete and thorough background check.

Unlike the Geeksquad and other well-known computer repair service centers, not only do you not pay UNLESS we fix it, but also, you do not pay UNTIL we fix it. We do not charge your account UNTIL after we have obtained your signature on our invoice indicating your complete %100 satisfaction with both our service and charges as they appear on the invoice. By implementing these policies into the framework of our SOP, we are able to build trust in our business and renew consumer confidence.

Our company likes to be as transparent as possible to the consumer. Why? Because we have absolutely nothing to hide. See, when your an honest company, you can implement honest policies such as ours without fear of consumer fraud. We trust our customers and we know that our customers trust us. And that is just the way a good honest business in America should run.

  • I would be ashamed to charge anyone for a repair like that.

  • Hilarious but scary I once got kicked out of Best Buy cause I told a guy where he could buy a computer that he was looking at in Best Buy for about 300 dollars less & that was exactly the same, then one of the Best Buy sales guy came by and said I had to leave so I did and I bought my TV for 200 dollars less at a different store. When this happens just take your business somewhere else and tell them you are. It pisses them right off lets em know that they HAD a sale. That's what I did.

  • this guy sucks at newscasting

    he stutters like every sentence

that is not acceptable for a newscaster

  • @biscoito1r unless you know they did it on purpose to just test and waste your time :) Then yes charge them. Why let them waste your time for? Wouldn't charge them a crazy amount, maybe like 10 bucks for my time. I hate all these big chains, but if their pricing is right in your face, stating a minimum charge for diagnosis... you gotta pay.. you know how much it costs before going in.

  • #1 If someone tells you they have a "geek" friend chances are they are just some dude who has cracked open his own case a few times and claims to be able to fix computers,be aware.#2 any tech worth a squirt of piss first looks for loose cables then checks the bios...in a lot of cases after that it's fixed.#3 Stay the hell away from the Geek Squad,,they just like to make money and #4 Your tech should be IT certified like CompTIA A+ if your lucky.

  • If they did not fix it or diagnose it correctly, I would go "Psych! This was a test to see how good you repair. The only problem was that the IDE cable was loose! Dumbo."

  • Sounds a bit unethical, but if you stuipd enough to be able to fix your own computer, you'll have to pay someone 100 dollars to plug in a cable.

  • @starfoxy21

Thank you, Captain Obvious. You've missed the point I was making.

  • @opmike343 Uh no... The problem is that the IDE cable was unplugged. He said it was the jumper to make it more complicated and costly.

  • @ROFLSoldiers yeah because when you walk across the street to another store and drop a couple hundred it be real salty instead of trying to rob the public they should be honest people

  • He took the time to "look" at the jumpers, but not the fucking cable directly beside it?

Jesus people, if you have computer trouble, but don't feel comfortable working on it yourself, give it to one of your young relatives. Everyone is bound to have a computer geek or two as a son, nephew, cousin, etc. somewhere in the network of people they know.

  • Seems to me like using youtube to right things is the way to go. Years ago BBB could be contacted via phone now they play the phone chanse game. Like if you want english push one if hispanic push 2. What is your problem chose from 1 through 10... etc. An hour on the phone was too much. I use to write the papers "PUBLIC FORM" but they are owned by advertisers and crooked editors... So bend over and smile!
