1988 Olympics was gymnastics at its peak. Let's consider:
Artistic gymnastics: 40 perfect 10's
Rhythmic gymnastics: 28 perfect 10's by 4 gymnasts in one event.

yeah i noticed that as well. I couldn't tell what it was but but def not a full out.

She actually changed her second pass, she did a tucked full-in. She did a layout full-out and a tucked full-out (which actually looked more like a half-in half-out) in her 1991 floor routine which got her a gold on event finals.

I disagree, Going by what you just said simply shows everyone was being over marked, it doesnt mean the gymnastics was more 'perfect' then here. I dont actually think most gymnasts form was as perfect in 88, and I prefer the wider range of competition here.
Ofcourse, its all just opinion, and We are allowed to differ :-D
