It's not about singing in any accent, it doesn't matter what accent one sings in - It's about taking the Lord's name - As Srila Prabhupada said, our body is just a dress, we are all spirit souls and when we die, we will leave our bodies (including our accents!).Taking Krishna's name is not an eastern or western thing to do. It's a universal thing, that everyone can partake in regardless of origin, colour, caste, (or accents!).
