  • The simultanesouly anguished and orgasmic sounds of the blues giving birth to metal.

  • Astonishingly Good.

  • These guys are so good its fuckin scary

  • Besides the Black guitar players ,Clapton is the best wah wah pedal I ever heard in my life

  • This was called acid rock back then

  • @EasyAce He was talking about the sound that was called "Heavy Metal" back in the 60's. It meant any guitar laden blues-rock or white-blues band and was rather despective.

The term lived on and sometimes was applied to stuff ranging from Slade to Black Sabbath. It wasn't until the middle-late 70's when the NWOBHM gave birht to what we today call Heavy Metal which wasn't too closely related to blues rock even back in the times of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.

  • @panzerkeil "People say we gave birth to heavy metal. If that's true, we should have had an abortion."---Ginger Baker.

  • I was there!

  • As good as the Kingston Trio? Huh....?

  • THE greatest 3-piece group ever. The birth of heavy metal. Each man a virtuoso in his craft. Here it is, it will never come around again.
