Little more of a challenge, but worth it. This is the technique I use to make the caterpillar fringe bracelet.
Loads of fringe to cover a bracelet.
20-30 grams size 8 seeds
40-60 grams size 11 seeds
20-30 grams size 15 or Delica seeds
20 grams Japanese fringe beads or small glass drops
You'll need at least two beading needles. Working this stitch is murder on them!

  • Hey there, my beading guru, question for you, I thought i noticed your base of peyote beads was more than just a peyote single layer. Did you double it up or were my eyes playing tricks on me. I'm talking about before any fringe were added to that gorgeous bracelet. I just have to tell you , you are so frickin funny and talented!!!

  • @goodboyrg21 Its just a single strip of peyote. Wish I could see what you do, though! ;)

  • I love this and how easy it is. How did you end it though and what kind of finishing did you use?

  • @SweetLotusCreations Finishing is up to you, but I used a beaded toggle, which is my favorite. I have a tut for that as well.

  • I JUST finished mine...I'm soo happy!! Right on time, actually! Mothers' day is this sunday...

One thing tough, maybe you can help me out. The bracelet kinda starts to curve and I can't make it lay completely flat. What could I do?

  • @fandelesluthiers A few of mine do that, and I think its a tension issue. Doesn't bother me at all, they still wear beautifully.

  • @tsummerlee Yeah, I thought so. I do have a tendency to pull tight on eeeveeerythiiing. No it doesn't bother, it's just that it seemed weird xD, and in any case, my mom would probably say that she doesn't care because she doesn't even know how to make it. LOL.

  • @xoxodancer45 The base is just a strip of peyote made to be as long as your wrist, or as long as you wish.
