Rick Santorum addresses progressives [!!!]

Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) addressed a group of religious progressives who met on Capitol Hill on June 27, 2006 to lobby Congress to do more to fight poverty.

In his remarks, while talking about Republican efforts to combat poverty, he acknowledged that Republicans have "historically not necessarily been the best in looking out for poverty programs."

Santorum continued, "I think we tend to, on the Republican side, have an aversion to the idea of that," referring to anti-poverty programs.

If he, Palin, Romney, Gingrich, and 4 or 5 other losers all run, they'll cause a lot of boneheaded neocons and Christ-Nazis to flush their money down the rathole in the process- and Obama will win by an even bigger landslide than '08.
