@DeliriumzzZ muay thai and BJJ?? HAHAHAHA YEAH RIGHT YOU FUCKING POSER!!! You are nothing but an internet troll and a wannabe fighter. This is not a muay thai or BJJ video you idiot. This is a BOXING video. If you wanna brag about your imaginary fighting resume then go troll somewhere else you POSER.

@ilovefrankandbeans I don't box no, ive done boxing for a while, but I've been doing muay thai for a much longer time =) ( combined with bjj ) So don't act condescending to me as if you know me.

@DeliriumzzZ you say "we" as if you box...yeah right!! guess what i box myself and i know. Roy Jones knew, Manny pacquiao knew...and when you box you know when someone is out of it. Sure i agree that the ref should have stepped in, but Griffith should have known better.

@ilovefrankandbeans easy to say when ur not fighting. ever been hit in the face for half an hour straight? You don't have the ability anymore to think like that, we run on pure instinct, which is why referees are in place.

Tragic :/

@banofee999 look i was exaggerating just for attention. But now that I have your attention, let me say one thing. I watched the tragic ending of this fight and I must say that Emile could have displayed a lot more mercy. If you watch the Roy Jones-MacCallum fight, Roy was pummeling him and told the ref to stop the fight. Pacquiao took it easy on Margarito in the 11th round. Boxing is a brutal sport no doubt, but there still needs to be that sense of humanity that supersedes competition.
I don't believe that Griffith was consciously trying to hurt Paret; but I do think the anger in him took over...he saw red. In Griffith's defense, Ruby Goldstein, considered one of the best referees of his time, blew it. He jumped in way too late when it was obvious that Paret was taking a brutal pummeling. The casualty list in that fight didn't end with Paret. Griffith was never the same fighter after this bout. Goldstein was haunted by this as well, and I believe he took his own life.
