@dannyboy4993 A travesty. And after back-to-back Orange Bowl wins. Texas, the eventual national champs in 1969, are slaughtered by Penn State in the 1972 Cotton Bowl. They win on the running of Lydell Mitchell, who scores 4 TD's on the way to a 30-6 victory for Penn State. It is one of the first times the Texas wishbone offense is completely controlled by a superior Penn State defense.
