If you don't straighten your hair first it might work better so the heat from straightening it isnt weighing it down (: thats how it works for me anyways (:

try pining the curls in place right after you curl it so it cools in the curl shape. :)

@AshleyEubanks89 the problem is your curling iron is too big, if you had a smaller one it would work better.
