These clips were filmed at Bridgnorth on Saturday 22nd September 1990 at the SVR's Autumn Steam Gala.
Scenes like this of people milling around just about everywhere were soon to come to an end due to ever tightening Health & Safety regulations.
600 Gordon was in steam for the first time since 1984 and several years in the wilderness.(Also known as the sidings at Arley) Gordon would be a regular performer until 1999, when 'he' blew a boiler tube. 600 is now on display at The Engine House in Highley.
34027 Taw Valley's then owner Bert Hitchen is seen on 34027's footplate. (He's nearest the tender.)
Other locos visible are 80079, 4566, 75069, 5764 and 7819 Hinton Manor.
I remeber that as I was extatic that Gordon was in steam as I had just seen him in the wilderness sidings before and I got a ride on Flyin Scotsman the same day. Dispite my attempts I then managed never to photograph or ride behind 600 in service as it was either on the jacks or acting as stand by only during my visits

A busy time at the North end and no Heath & Safety issues in those days. Nice to see the top field still in use as well. 5*
