Shocking images of a woman in a north Russian town being brutally attacked by a polar bear. The bear retreats after a bystander throws a can at it, and the woman walks away from the attack relatively unscathed.

@Reviewcam1961 I guess they are used to nothing but fear out of thier victims, not used to having any bravado thrown at them. One time a cougar attacked some kids, and a camp counselor grabbed it and screamed in its face, and it ran off.
