@hell0philip Jushin Liger had a brain tumor? When was this?
-
@bestinbusiness1 Lesnar only botched his ONCE, ANY time he hit it when he was in OVW it landed just fine.
-
@JamieBugajski doesn't matter looks more impactful and real in a sense here. Most guys that do it (evan bounre) seems like you have a straight min to move out the way, here you don't.
-
@JamieBugajski I'm going to disagree. That SSP had something that most of them don't have... A sense of impact. While Evan Bourne looks really pretty doing his SSP, I never get the feeling that he actually hit the guy with the move. Even if Lyger shorted the rotation a bit, this SSP actually impacted his opponent. To me, this is one of the best looking SSPs I've ever seen.
-
I'm pretty sure this was botched slightly, and the title is meant to be ironic.
-
Why are people bitching that this is sloppy? Because he's not as exact as Evan Bourne? It looks fine.
-
Such a shit on Liger with the title of the video, because it was a very sketchy looking shooting star, very almost a botch. It just implies that this is the best one he's done, and anyone who doesn't know about him will think that.

@delacroixwalrus Well he innovated it in the world of professional wrestling, idiot. If we're going to nitpick about "inventing" moves, then most moves were probably invented outside of wrestling.
@PerfectChannel He innovated the move (so his landing doesn't have to be perfect) and according to him, he got the idea from watching "Fist of the North Star" where someone does a similar move (I want to say off of a gas tank).
And yeah, the brain tumor screwed up the equilibrium in his head so he doesn't do that much high flying anymore.

@JamieBugajski Its supposedd to be sloppy....no one had EVER seen it before! This is how the shooting star press originally looked. The fact that someone could do that with his body in mid air was unheard of when liger first did it. Just like most moves were sloppy when they were first created, then people recreate em and make em better. Hes an innovater and one of the greatest wrestlers ever.
