i love quattros to bits,but the near 30 year age lets them down,compared to modern technology

@nuclear944 years ahead yes but not worlds ahead. The system they used was the formula Ferguson system of the first road 4 wheel drive car the "Jensen FF" also the first car with anti lock breaks.from 1966-1971...This was way ahead of its time. Its now making a comeback done out with modern suspension etc and it goes like stink Top Gear think its great.

Love it!! Still looks like a solid machine. I love the way german cars age...unlike japanese cars, which might look awesome, but years later you think "I can´t understand how the designer thought this crap looked good"...

had an 1983 lwb quattro the one thing i can say about it was it was a drivers car anyone who knows will understand. It was standard but it went round corners like it was on rails espcially with diff lock on great car and yes i wish i still had it.And the thing that guts me it was only a year old like new but i got in a bit of trouble so i had to sell it NICE MEMORIES.

I own an Audi 80 with inline 5-pot and I will keep it as long as possible. Those cars are too good to just give away. They deserve to be treated well!
