@treadingvapor O My Dear Brother Human's Women are Humans.. and in Islam women have the more respect then in any Religion. Listen females are very caring, loving and soft on nature, and males are brave, strong and hard in nature, females are like a Rose and men are like those protecting Spikes which surrounds that Rose. So it is a duty of men to protect women and to give her proper rights. and there is a duty for women as they are caring and they should care for their men. So how the life goes!

12. to refuse any marriage that does not please them and more...women in Islam had the rights to do what ever they wanted to around 1400 years ago and i don't think there were any civilisation in Brazil at that time and women and men probably used be naked like animals and live in caves jangles.

6. The right to provisions from the husband for all her needs and more.

7. The right to negotiate marriage terms of her choice.

@texugonervoso I wouldn't mind how you walk or what you do that's your rights and everyone should have the rights to do what they want...in 2days society if a women walks naked she is accepted by the society ..however if a Muslim women wants cover her self and protect her morality why is that a big issue?...In a truely Islamic society women have the following rights in Islam:

1. The right and duty to obtain education.

2. The right to have their own independent property.
