yo don't preach to us because you don't even know how to spell parkour, and you don't know anything about it. Traceurs practice parkour safely. The media has made it up to be "Roof jumping" and "Flipping off of shit." The people on youtube just put up big jumps to get other people interested in it. And you can't damage your limbs doing parkour any more than basketball, football, or any other sports.

@thatparkourdude Nah I read it, I guess actually traceurs vary from person to person, because I have a bit of a tendency to practice challenges that are dangerous. I don't do flips or that kind of showy stuff, but I will do long and high jumps with a drop. Then again, I have been told by many many people that I am crazy and will eventually pay for it. I don't mind though, if I died doing something that truly gives me a thrill, then I'll have lived how I wanted to.

Traceurs don't condone thrill seeking, and trying to "go big or go home." Parkour isn't an extreme sport- the pros, like the one in this video, are trying to make money- people pay to watch people do dangerous things.

@thatparkourdude actually, it is my strong opinion that parkour is one of the most dangerous activities out there. I usually won't try a new obstacle that involves some sort of really dangerous fall unless I have time and time again been consistent in doing the same maneuver across a similar obstacle under less dangerous locations, but I never know, some day I could just happen to slip the landing or simply miss-cue the jump entirely, putting myself in pretty huge danger.
