Are you nuts!?!? In case you didn't know this, the spinto fach is not only6 characterized b6y a push to the voice, but reaquires said push to in fact be a spinto. Lyric tenors are not the only legitimate fach and ideas like this skew peoples views in a closed minded direction. You shouldn't be so quick to pass negative comments. Do you sing?

Gone and forgotten????? Look at his 2 fantastic DVD came these days "Traviata" from 2007 with Fleming and "Manon" from Liceu with Dessay. He opens in Vienna in the month with Werther, having full season in Covent Garden and 10 Romeos in Salzburg. AND sounds better than ever. The army of his fans are supporting him with all hearts and minds.

ill? are you crazy? i believe he is having vocal problems at the moment. as a fan of this wonderful artform that i have a great affinity for, the comment was correct. screaming as usual and it got him into vocal trouble. tasteless? i only gave some knowledge. enjoy it. its free!

scusami,ma non mi trovo proprio d'accordo con quello che dici,secondo me la tecnica di villazon è pessima e solo naturale... ogni attacco parte da sotto e quando gira i suoni non so cosa sembra se noti a 4minuti rigira il suono almeno 3 volte! ed arriva alla nota finale senza più risorse cioè parte forte e finisce che lo reggono solo le fibre in pratica sbraita

I like that very much!First of all I like the singing of course. But I also like the way, Villazón looks: so handsome and so sinister. That's great for this role.
