@Jcolinsol Yep, you're right...Just watch old Twilight Zone episodes and other 60's TV shows and see how Hollywood, in your words, "steals" from them. I read somewhere online that the Terminator guy (J.Cameron) stole the idea for the series from an old Outer Limits episode called "The Man Who was Never Born". Hollywood's lack of fresh ideas is nauseating. But anyone will steal if you let them, go figure.
