'Cultural Leadership International' project by British Council

http://www.britishcouncil.org/france-arts-cultural-leadership.htm The British Council is launching the Cultural Leadership International Program and for the pilot year is gathering a selection of young Cultural leaders from the Middle East, Europe, Canada, the USA and North African Countries
The aim of the program is to help the young generation of cultural leaders to develop their professional skills into an International Network.
After the London event each participant will finalize his or her personal development plan and will fulfil his or her objectives.
We will do some follow-up video portraits of some of the participants later on in the CLI program

The film-maker was not under contract to film everybody present- this film is intended as a 'taster'. Some people actually were not so interested and confident in being involved in the filming; for various reasons. We also of course have other promotional tools that we are using; such as the brochure; with photos and biographies , and in which you are featured.

I am happy of course to clarify on the film:

As you can see the film-maker filmed a selection of participants for this short film, as well as some of the group events; the purpose of the film overall is to be a 'snapshot' of the London event. We worked with the film-maker on it; and tried to be responsive to the participants who were keen to be involved.

بعض الناس في الواقع لم تكن مهتمة بتاتاً في الظهور في الفيلم ، لأسباب مختلفة,واحترمنا ذلك.

نحن ايضا بالطبع لدينا أدوات ترويجية أخرى التي نستخدمها ، مثل الكتيب ؛ الذي يضم الصور والسيرة الذاتية لكل المشاركين دون استثناء

لم نعقد اتفاق مع المخرجةان تظهر جميع المشاركين ولم يكن هذا مطلوب في الاساس لان الهدف الاساسي كما ذكرت هو اظهار لقطات عن البرنامج والحدث. فهذا الفيلم هو للتشويق ولتشجيع الجمهور لمعرفة اكثر عن البرنامج وليس لاظهار المشاركين او للحديث عنهم.

يجدر التوضيح ان الغرض من هذا الفيلم عموما هو أن يكون 'لقطة'مختصرة لهذا الحدث في لندن. لقد عملنا سوياً مع المخرجة لتحقيق ذلك،كما واننا حاولنا أن نكون متجاوبين مع مطالب المشتركين الذين كانوا يريدون المشاركةفي الفيلم.
