Actually pressing the space bar is the same as the "stop" button which puts the film back at the beginning (or where ever the orange line is). If you press the left or right arrow key is pauses the video, and then click the space bar to resume. Found it out right after I posted my comment. Quite a stupid way to pause though.

how the ehll do you pause the clip and then click play so it plays it from where you pause it, and not from the damn beginning!
