Phantasy Star II - Restoration (Jazz cover)

This is a jazz/improvisational version of Restoration from Phantasy Star II. I made it for Punchfest! The challenge for Punchfest is to come up with a video game remix/cover/arrangement in less than six hours. I only spent about four hours on mine, though.

The rhythm on my improvisation is a little bad, but I think it fits into a sort of groove, so hopefully you can enjoy it anyway ^-^ I programmed drums mimicking the original, then changed them to swing time, played some bass and then some piano. Then I looped it and edited the piano at the end to sound like it had an ending :-)

The only difference between this and the punchfest version is I tried to make this one a bit less quiet. (It's probably still a little quiet, because I refused to brickwall it since it's supposed to be jazzy!! :-)

lol you and me both. I think I remember reading somewhere this box art is the American version, they changed it to suit western audiences. The Japanese one has the anime style i'm pretty sure :P
