Kinda lame. Obviously he knew the card from when he showed "all the cards are different". He spread the cards out sufficiently so he could read the card re-inserted in the pack (probably just marked upside down). Everything after that was just showmanship and making up stories about non-existent tells.

all Brian did was force the card, his whole "how to detect a lie" thing with leo was just a front to make the trick look better
