  • Awesome! The ending credits to Father Dowling Mysteries, plus the advertising made me feel good inside to hear that again. :) Hollywood don't know how to be as good as they once were like back then. Shows now days can NOT compete with back then by far!

  • @catbeast2007:Only if you go to the website TV Shows On DVD and vote for it to be on DVD, will you ever see it.

  • The Copyright says 1990. Which Date is debuted the Viacom Wigga-Wigga Logo?

  • Goodbye Tom Bosley. We will never forget you.

And as it was said as a meme on the Closing Logo Group, "The V of Steel Loves You..." ...forever.

    RIP Tom Bosley

  • Dear CatBeast,

I hope that those guys at Paramount Home Entertainment will rerelease"The Father Dowling Mysteries"to the home video market on DVD and Blu-Ray. It would be a fitting and wonderful tribute to Ms.Wickes and Mr.Bosley.If they did this.

  • @catbeast2007 RIP Tom Bosley

  • When do you think Paramount Home Entertainment will ever released Father Dowling Mysteries on DVD & Blu-Ray cmpb302?

  • If Father Downling Mysteries ever aired on TV or released on DVD & Blu-Ray, it woun't have the Viacom V Of Steel after the credits, it would have the CBS Television Distribution logo instead.

  • This was from the closing credits of the "Father Dolwing Mysteries" series, seen on NBC beginning on November 20, 1987 until May of 1988. The series was then switched to ABC{which is where this ending clip of "Father Dowling" was seen on} from the Fall of 1988 until May 2, 1991, when the show went off the air. THIS clip had to be between 1988 and 1990, because of the 1986-1990 Viacom "V of Steel" logo, seen at 0:43.....

  • WOW, that Viacom logo is very strange...but very cool!
