I bet I would break my back doing that. Good job and keep it up.
Peace.

completely and utterly useless for a boxer or any other sport, except perhaps things where the ground changed under you like skiing or surfing.Every balance skill is specific and only comes from drills in the sport.Only a trainer with little understanding would advise standing on balls.Whenever I see coaches advocate this I know for a fact they are clueless, regardless of their reputation.

@fattymcgatty this has very little to do with core strength and everything to do with learning a very specific balance skill,it wont transfer to boxing.Jumping rope on a ball is unecessary risk of injury .

This would be GREAT training for skiing! good core and balance workout!! Thanks for posting!

Actually the guy was once a clown.

amazing balance! 2 thumbs up!

This is what happens when people get bored with their crappy routine in a gym.

How often do you fight on an exercise ball?
Training, of any sort, is about specificity.

I could not do this until i strengthened my core. Now my core does the work and any thing is possible, like even jumprope on the ball and i am a fit 46 year old surfer

How do you do that?
i will knock you out even if i dont do that training.

You have missed the number one rule of fighting. Avoid it. Life is about balance. I suggest you go to a martial arts school to learn to have the mental capacity to win over your fears and anxieties. My exercise should not be a threat to you that requires you to assert how much better you are but a learning tool for your consideration. Let go of that fear of inadequacy that requires your emotional response to do battle. Without control over your emotions you have already lost.
