http://www.netbooknews.com The ASUS Eee Slate EP121 is powered by an Intel Core i5 dual-core processor and features a 12.1" LED backlit display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 and a viewing angle of 178 degrees. Running on Windows 7 Home Premium, it has no issues multitasking as we could witness during ASUS' presentation: while a video was running in the background, the presenter edited an image of his "daughter" with Photoshop Elements. Afterwards he sent it wirelessly over to another Slate after using the capacitive stylus to write the e-mail address which the built-in text recognition transfered into legible letters. The touch screen also allows fingertip input, while the Slate also supports the use of a Bluetooth keyboard for even faster typing. The Eee Slate is available with 32 or 64 GByte SSD storage, expandable via SDXC, and up to 4 GByte of DDR3 RAM. It comes with 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 2 megapixel camera and two USB 2.0 ports as well as with a mini HDMI port.

  • I think im gonna go for this... I waited too long for Samsung, but it has a smaller screen than this one,

  • @RestDayer I think ipad holds its value cause of all the nice apps it got, it's portability and ease of use. This is definitely better for a power user. I myself am considering buying this. but I will not give up on my ipad either. Both have different use case to me.

  • @johnyboy6405 maybe, if we follow our interests, technology is the result.. think about it ;)

  • If were going to follow tecnology will loose interest in other things. Thats my opinion, whos with me?

  • I have a high Word per minute count, can anyone tell me if there is any lag with the touch screen keyboard on Word?
