I recently went to Camp Phoenix in Kabul, Afghanistan. While I was there I went to lunch with some of the village elders and soldiers with Task Force Phoenix V. I couldnt get over the friendship these guys have developed and wanted to put it out there for everyone to see...

I was there two years ago with the 27th BCT. The guys in Kabul had it good no real enemies, they just spent their time making dumb videos like this one.

Friends made friends lost, this war has brought a lot of people together and has a parted a lot from their beloved ones. I hope it ends the way this video is portraying it. Beautiful to see two cultures coming together coming together for one cause, Cause of peace. That is why we all are striving.

i enjoyed this video and my brother is staioned in camp phonenix right now i had only one ? at 2:17 when the soldier trys to hug the old man a second time does he get pushed away like a joke or wht please let me no thnk you and god bless

The old man is named Omar Kahn. He and the LT. that he pushed away were always wrestling/joking around with each other. The LT spent a whole year earning their respect and becoming friends. And trust me, it was like a game of "yo mama" during the dinner...LOL.
