I conducted this video survey at a university campus. I wanted to see how much the average college student or professor knew about the history of America and what's going on in government today.

everyone pretty much answered the questions right. are we a free a country is more of a matter of opinion because what makes us free.

@AshtonPhoto I can name the americans, and being from denmark there are no people on the bills well not any more,(the queen on the coin ofc)

@AshtonPhoto I don't want to start an argument, but I'm Italian and I could have pointed every single country the girl mentioned on a map, no problem. Now that we have the euro they no longer put famous people on banknotes, but back when we had the lira I certainly knew who the people portrayed on the various bills were. The level of general knowledge in America may actually be lower than in other parts of the world; of course, that doesn't mean Americans are stupid.

Epic idiocy? These are common things most people would struggle with. Does not noticing who is on what bill make a person stupid?? If so then you can make anybody look dumb by asking them enough questions and only showing the ones they fail to answer correctly.
Go to Denmark and ask people, go to Japan. You'll get the same results.

@AshtonPhoto For the record, I have not included every question I asked in this video (some of them will be shown in Part 2). Some of their answers to these questions showed more depth of thought and logic. But as for the questions and answers here, I included almost all of their answers.
