In the comic book, there were dead people all over the place, all piled on each other. It was shocking. I can't see why that was taken away from the movie.

@shenron14 Well i don't know, But I woulda prefered to see like after Rorscachs Death, Nite Owl and Spectre fight the squid as its destroying New York, and just as their about to die Dr.Manhattan arrives and sacrifices himself to kill it, so half the City is dead and Viedt makes everyone think he is the cause and escaped, so the world trys to kill/find him so they have to make peace and work together. Its perfect.

I know where you are coming from, that the squid would be very important to the ending. But I think they pulled it off, by getting the same idea across at the ending in a different way. As in, we won't have world peace til we are on the edge of destorying ourselves. Which is absurd enough. And people wouldn't just boo the screen and walk out when they saw a squid. You know what I'm saying? It wouldn't have translated very well in movie form.
