It's only a theory.

But theory means fact supported by evidence

Evidence won through controlled, repeated, peer-reviewed experimentation

Fact solidified by predictive capability

Fact manifested in technological application


They say...
Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach.

But teaching is a process of promoting learning

It demands much
Knowledge based on research
Skill based on practice
Learning built on learning


They say...
Politicians are all the same.

But they have never read the party platforms
And they can never recall a politician's track record


They say...
Truth is relative.

But they tell children it is wrong to lie


I say...
"They" are our justification for intellectual laziness

Our defence against personal responsibility

Not fact,
Not evidence
Not truth

They are excuses
