A chanson by Edith Piaf compiled with shots from Carmel market in Tel-Aviv, and from a flower field.
"Does the briefness of a moment can be Found ...?"
Edith Piaf - La Foule
Titre original : Amore de mis amores (1953)
Musique : Angel Cabral
Paroles : Enrique Dizeo
Paroles en français : Michel Rivgauche
I look again how the city celebrates and is delirious about it
Suffocating under the sun and the joy
And I hear in the music the cries, the laughter
Who burst and rebound around me
And lost among these people who hustle me
Dazed, disabled, I remain there
When suddenly, I am turned over, it pushes me back
And crowd comes to throw me between her arms.
Carried by the crowd which trails us
Involves us
Crushed one against the other
We form one body
And flow without effort
It pushes us, connects one to the other
And leaves us both
Opened out, intoxicated and happy.
Involved by the crowd which springs
And which dances
An insane farandole
Our two hands remain welded, unite
And sometimes raised
Our two intertwined bodies fly away
And both fall down
Opened out, drunk, intoxicated and happy.
And joy splashed by its smile
Pierces me and flashes back at the bottom of me
But suddenly I cry out among the laughter
When the crowd comes to tear it off among my arms...
Carried by the crowd which trails us
Involves us
Moves us away one from the other
I fight and I debate
But the sound of its voice
Chokes me in the laughter of the others
And I shout of pain, fury and rage
And I cry ...
The original title is "Que nadie sepa mi sufrir."
