The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana (Excerpt 2)

In this scene from the September 20, 1982 TV movie, "The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana," 16-year-old Lady Diana Spencer has a talk with her mother, Frances Shand-Kidd, then her father, Earl Spencer, in turn. A little later, she meets Prince Charles for the first time since she was a young child; Charles is strolling on the estate with Diana's older sister, Sarah. Catherine Oxenberg and Christopher Baines co-starred in the movie, with George Martin, Barbara Caruso, Holland Taylor, and Estella Masters in supporting roles. Since this movie is not available on home video or DVD, I took a video of my videotaped copy with my digital camera, as it played on my TV set, then retaped selected excerpts from the movie with my digital camera.

@GingerGilligan actually she didn't, she cut it when she got into the teaching position to keep the kids from pulling at it. She meet Charles a few times, once with her longer hair then with her shorter hair which he has been quoted as saying he 'preferred it short'. That's why it stayed short, she grew it long once, (I have photo's of it, she looks very pretty with it longer) But then cut it short again. She kept it short to please him as much as she could.
