i think it's better not to use the flag of the people of republic of china, coz during the WWII, the communist china was not born yet.

I prefer Bama, because our ancestors gave that name to themselves. Burma was created by British because they can't pronounce it & Myanmar was given in order to give ethnic minorities' place in the country. So which will it be Bama or Myanmar? I never use Burma in conversations though coz like i said it was given by the Whites!

The correct name is Mranma (chinese cannot pronounce r!)

'Burma' is the former name , the current government's changed it into 'Myanmar'. Because, 'Burma' refers to the largest ethnic group known as 'Bamar'in the country..That's why the current government uses the term 'Myanmar' to avoid the ethnic conflicts and tensions between 'bamars' and other ethnic groups like 'Karens', 'Mons' and 'Shans'. So, the term 'Burmese' is just related to the country 'Burma' or 'Myanmar' and not related or referring to any ethnic groups in the country.
