@Kvokki Me too actually. I was flying fo over one hour, made it across 3-4 solar systems, and died in a fight without saving before.

I ragequited, and that was my first X experience.

Does it have a good story?? Looks like Freelancer that I loved but after the main story there wasnt much point in playing.

Further would be nice: An epic soundtrack by x-ray dog or "Two steps from hell", a really free camera or even an automatic "cinematic" camera, that flies around and makes the game to real "movie", when the player clicks on a button.

More complex characters would be fine, too.

And another idea: Give the player the possibility to be just a cannonier or a captain of a big ship, a bit similar to the "scifi pioneer" Wing Commander or something like Arma2. Least has the best editor of all time!

Further for more atmosphere, think about damage making explosions.

At moment mega ships explode right in front of your cockpit, *magic* the ships are away and that´s it.

There are some partly very old (!) games, where staying in front of mega tons bombs (ships transform into that, when they explode) is quite deadly.

"Epic" is the first game, that I know, where this happend.

Further, if you want to make X better: Get a better Editor like f.e. Empire at war. Player would love you for that. Thanx!

I'm really into the X-Concept BUT one thing always threw me off:

The Gameplay and Graphics are cool and mature but the lore and the characters as well as the character models always are on kindergarten level. I mean c'mon, someone who is able to think his way through all of these complexity and game mechanics REALLY is past that in his mind.

Please, Egosoft, PLEASE fix that this time. It's not that big deal and it would raise the whole value so much!

Well, is there already a release date for the new crwon of Scifi-RT-Gameplay..?

And do you think of, having now wrecks inside, after the explosion if a big ship..?

If yes, you got a very atmospherical game, too.

If not - not...

I personally would let people decise, if they want to play with wrecks staying for ever and without.

Nowerdays powerful pcs can handle such things without any problems, as it is proofen by Xtended mode...!

@OutragingByte from egosoft, Bernd (the guy incharge) did an interview explaining a bit about some of the features of X rebirth, and also from forum as well where he explained.

X3 Albion Prelude explains a bit about the new Highway systems there experimenting.

so now the game has brand new engine they can do all sorts of new stuff with the game, such as giving Sectors an actuall life scale System from the sun to the Outer system and using the highways to travel around in
