  • @Vogda Jesus said I am The Way, The Truth and The Life. NOONE comes to the Father EXCEPT THROUGH ME.

It wasn't Paul who said that.

  • Dr. Geisler is a man of God. Amen!

  • Excellent teaching by Geisler as always. Norm Geisler is the real deal, a true intellectual.

  • This is demonstration of teaching that I'm calling "Paulinee afabetical teaching". All modern protestants (pastors) are example of this Paul's teaching. According to this teaching The Bible is alfabetical Truth (like a scientific magazine or like stenographic document) and there is no room for simbolic meaning (small exeptions of course). Now pay attention: Paul (~30-70s CE) created a VESION OF CHRISTIANITY HIGHLY AGRESSIVE NO TOLERANSE AT ALL to any other religion. That was not Jesus teaching

  • I just wonder why there was so many wars? Look this lecture carefully: in realaty there was no any evidance why Christianty should be true way to God. Now He says we are having the patent to the way of God you don't. In the same time Islam profit say the same for his religion and so on. What happend? A war. This is the mechnism of hate and disrespect. Next step comes naturaly take a gun and kill. I wonder, do you think that historical Jesus will recognaize his teaching for peace from this...

  • The correct uderstanding of Christianity is the right religion

The correct uderstanding of Islam is the right religion

The correct uderstanding of Buddism is the right religion

The correct uderstanding of Tao is the right religion

The correct uderstanding of Krishna is the right religion

so on. Meaning that the religion is human terminology, But the correct understanding is a deep spiritual feeling. In the same time if you does not understand it correct is not OBJECTIVE TRUTH

  • First half of that lecture was useless exept the elephant story. Second the oposites CAN BE ALSO TRUE, beacause sometimes this oposites are termins from our mind. Let me explain One God (islam) Three Gods like triange (christianity) looks oposite, BUT looks oposite as human termin. In same time the deep mening of the trianity (christianity) GOD's Love is the same for the deep meaning of One God (islam) God's Love. See the terminology comes from our mind and human words.

  • @TrueTaike We conditioned or embodied souls/persons have physical bodies. These physical bodies have two aspects: subtle and gross. The subtle aspect of our physical bodies is mental, intellectual and falsely egoistic. The gross aspect of our physical body is obviously bone and flesh, etc.

So no, the mind is material, not immaterial. The mind is limited like you said earlier. Spirit is not limited, not bound by time, like the mind. Purified spirit souls have a direct connection with God.

  • @parkerjwill What's "l"? The mind is consciousness, intelligence, thought. All of these are immaterial. Absolutely Truth is also immaterial, and can be understood. How do i know... Well all i have to do is ask if what I said is true or not. So as far as the definition goes... yes Dr. Norm does have the capability to know "absolute truth" and God, because he does have a mind (which i hope we've established is immaterial). You are a very confusing person(might I also say confused person).

  • @TrueTaike If your definition for mind is that which is "I", then OK.
