A summary of points raised by Larry Abraham:

* 93 years of idiotic, schizophrenia, and insane foreign policy is not the point.
* Who really set the stage for Reagan's cut and run in Lebanon? The same people who are setting the stage for the cut and run from Iraq, the editorial board of the New York Times
* I'm opposed to helter-skelter intervention, but 911 is different
* Hypothetically, if Musharraf in Pakistan goes down, Islamists will gain possession of a nuclear weapon. If Mubarak in Egypt goes down they would they close down the Suez canal. The reality is that's the hand we've been dealt right now.
* Very bad things could soon occur so we should act offensively now while we still can to defensively prevent them from taking place in the future.

The anti-U.N. rhetoric in the American media will die down if the U.N. gets off of Israel's back about its undefinable border problem. There are laws that define national borders, but Israel answers to a higher authority. The U.S. has a border problem, too. It can't stay within its own defined borders. It's too free!

Did the "Islamists" name their nuclear bomb tests after references from the Koran? Ever hear of the "Trinity"? Did the "Islamists" ever use nuclear weapons?

2. He says he is not going to attempt to excuse 93 years of misguided foreign policy but rather focus on the hand we are dealt NOW. The hand we are "dealt" now is a direct result of 93 years of misguided foreign policy. If we don't change our policy the hand will always be the same, and 93 years from now some speaker will say the exact same thing. We have to stop murdering innocent people overseas if we don't want innocent people here to be murdered.

I can't stand this. There are so many fallacies in what he is saying:

1. Listen to our enemies, Iraq is central to the war. Yes, Iraq is central to the war because the Muslims are tired of us being in the Middle East and want to drive us out. Let's listen to Osama Bin Laden who said: "We treat them in the same way. Those who kill our women and innocent, we kill their women and innocent, until they refrain." Also one of his stated purposes is to drive AMericans out of the Middle East

Larry Abraham is not a Neocon. He has been in the fight for a long time before that word was popular and he is not a new conservative. Far from it. You probably don't understand because you are new to trying to understand. How do you listen to a few minutes of someone speak about a story that has been running for years on end.? Stepping into it like this probably doesn't make sense to the uninformed at least as it applies to Larry. That is not meant to be offensive. It is just the truth.
