  • @DXPunx74 Hehe....nice little story that!

  • I think the Everly Brothers version was better on the Two Yanks in England LP. I remember first hearing it on the radio in Buffalo, New York. The DJ at WKBW radio said "Thats from a new album by the Everly Brothers. I think you'll like it." I love the album. Other exceptional songs on the LP were "The Collector" and "Hard, Hard Year." Along with some others the Hollies did a great job backing up the brothers on this LP.

  • I´d always prefered the B-side...

  • This song was also recorded by the Everly Brothers on their 2 Yanks In England album, with the Hollies providing the musical back-up. Probably the best song on that album. Love the harmony on both versions.

  • Yeah, criminally overlooked -- amazing harmonies!

  • I sang this song in Kintergarden for the class in 1979. My Mom had this single. All the other kids were singin nursery rhymes, I was singin whatever was in my Moms records. I about freaked them out when I did eric burdons Sky Pilot, complete with sound effects and all. lol. It was quiet and I think I scared a few parents too.

  • Thanks for posting this gem , If you like Hollies B-Sides buy a great CD called "The Other Side Of The Hollies" . I know Jim was wondering if it was on an album. This song is included on the set.

  • One of the best b sides ever!!!! This is why you should never ignore your b sides!!

  • Summer of -67!! Great and wonderful memories. To bad we cant put time in reverse!

  • The first record I ever bought, with my pocket money.. I always preferred this to the A side. It's nice to hear it again.
