The fourth mask is for an infant seated on an adult passenger's lap, that is why only one passenger with an infant can be seated in a given row. Also the procedure for flight attendants in case of a rapid decompression is to don the nearest mask, if it happens when you are in the middle of the cabin there is always a mask at your disposal.

I want to become a SWA FA then work up to an A&P mechanic, how hard is it to get in?
-
If there are 3 seats, you need one additional mask in case there is a lap child at that row. Or the flight attendant can use the oxygen as they make their way to safety or to assist the passengers.
-
@DVA4098: You have four oxygen masks because you are allowed to carry one child (per row) under age two.
-
Just Curious, at 1:43 she says, "Four yellow oxygen masks will fall." Why do they have four when there are 3 seats on each side?

This is not "a day in the life" but more like Q & A with 1 flight attendant.
