  • weird music choice...... does not blend that well with 4wheelin

  • @amyandmorgan It would really depend on how much and what kind of off roading you are wanting to do. The IFS is going to ride better and won't really be a problem as long as you don't need a bunch of travel. Without going crazy you aren't going to be able to get the same amount of travel and articulation with an IFS that you can get with a decent solid axle. The lift kit doesn't always add actual travel. If it's a torsen bar front suspension it usually just lifts things up without extra travel

  • Straight axles are the way to go for wheelin' and anything that puts significant pulling stress on the front wheels. If you're jumping a truck or driving hardcore baja than you'd want IFS. Personally, I will never buy a 4X4 with IFS. I love my Jeep's.

  • depends on how extreme you want to get if you wanna encounter some mild hills some mild rivers while your out ya i would get a s15 jimmy or a s10 4x4 they have about 17 inches of clearance stock i think put a two inch suspension lift and 31 inch tires you could go alot of places just have to get your CV half shafts made at a drive line specialst so you dont snap them ever time you go out

  • would u get the same travel outta the indepent front suspension with a lift kit as the solid front axle with springs and which would recommend for a weekend bush warrior/daily driver?

  • wheres the ifsnone of my cherokees had individual front suspension nor did my blazers kool trail though

    keep up the wheelin

  • the lil blazer that could :)
