What to pack for a 17 day trip to Turkey covering Istanbul, Cappadocia and Antalya in winter? This is a carry-on centric approach for backpacking/hostelling.
What I've opted to take is pretty standard if you've watched my other videos, though you'll note I'm packing fewer books this time, and am also travelling without my usual salsa-dancing friendly shoes, and a backup pair of jeans/shorts. We'll see if this ends up being a huge mistake or not, but given I survived Argentina and only changed my jeans once, and did almost 3 months on 2 pair this shouldn't be an issue.
For those concerned, have no fear, I make sure I don't smell like roadkill =)
There are two items which I ended up packing not included in the video. The first is a silk-underwear top, and the 2nd is a pair of knit gloves with the fingers cut off to keep my hands warm while photographing things.

@1rlb Great to hear. I cannot wait to get over to Cappadocia! So far Istanbul has been amazing.

Oh my goodness, I hope you have a wonderful time in Turkey! I spent ten months there and went to all three of the places you are headed! I loved Antalya, even in winter, it was so beautiful. In Cappadocia (Kapadokya ;), don't miss the underground city or the cave churches. I'm pretty claustrophobic, but I'm really glad I went on both tours. General tip: Speak as much Turkish as possible. Turks love it when you put forth the effort! Kolay gelsin!
